Another big announcement from your committee last week! State awards are coming in 2023 so get your images ready now. We have held multiple working sessions and asked our members and sponsors what you want and we have listened! The planning and organising of the awards has been a huge undertaking but worth the effort as we believe we have a template that is relevant, inclusive, and truly represents the WA Photography and Videography community.

As announced the Ilford Orloff Awards will consist of
- Prizes worth more than $12,000
- Opening judging (where all photographers can attend and observe).
- Digital entries initially, followed by prints for finalists.
- Option of entering single images and/or folios.
- Awards for best of category, best print, other awards and overall Western Australian Ilford Professional Photographer of the Year.
- An exhibition of finalist prints.
- The prestigious awards night cocktail evening.
