How did you start in photography?
I was between jobs and had some spare time, so I started going out and shooting sunsets on my iphone. Did some edits using snapseed then organised my first exhibit. Looking back at those photos I've come a long way 😂 but its all part of the process.
What advice do you have for those starting out?
Part of winning is just beginning - ACTION! learn, adjust, grow as you go! don't judge your level one with someone else's level 10 - compare your progress against yourself.
What is your genre and how did you fall into that genre?
Abstract landscape/seascape. I decided to focus on this genre as I love the many elements involved. That being in nature, chasing as many sunsets / sunrises, and producing artwork to add/create the feel of a space.
What do you feel has been your biggest achievement so far?
Organised a creative event (The Blank Canvas Event ) and launched my fine art photography brand ( Ben Williams | Fine Art Photography )
Next holiday or on the list to visit?
I want to travel to Hawaii. It's on my list to go explore and shoot the beaches, volcanoes and mountains.
If you had a super power what would it be?
Teleportation like the movie jumper. Hawaii here I come 😊
